CCDE Graded Lab on Cisco U: Official, Exam-Like Practice for the CCDE Lab exam

For years, CCDE candidates have had to prepare for the CCDE lab exam with third-party scenarios and no clear way to judge how close they were to the real exam. Cisco has now published an official CCDE Graded Lab on Cisco U., and it fills that gap.

The lab mirrors the modular format of the Practical, with four scenarios, each in its own module:

  • Module 1, Core: Blue Bird
  • Module 2, Core: Fresh Eats Foods
  • Module 3, AI Infrastructure: HAL2025
  • Module 4, LSN: Green Fiber Services

Each module gives you two hours, with an optional one-hour extension once the lab has started. As in the real exam, you get a single attempt per module and progress can’t be saved, so there are no second chances. At the end of each module, you receive a graded score report with detailed feedback, which you can export. The passing score is approximately 65%.

A few practical points before you buy:

  • The lab assumes you have already passed the CCDE written exam.
  • Today, access lasts 90 days and costs $1,000 USD or 10 Cisco Learning Credits per license.
  • Loading the lab can take up to 30 minutes, which doesn’t count against your time.

Practising on official material gives you a calibrated view of scenario structure, depth, and timing, and a measurable read on your readiness before you book the exam. I’d treat each module as a dress rehearsal: block the full time, work uninterrupted, and review your reasoning afterwards, not just the score.
